This page is authored with Windows (CRLF) line endings. The image alt text below ends a physical line with a continuation backslash and is then followed by a blank line before the continued text. On CRLF sources the carriage return sitting before the newline used to be folded into the scanned text, which dropped the leading words of the argument. QDoc must join the argument identically to a Unix-line-ending source.
